We like a clean environment and take good care of nature. Everyone in the Netherlands is expected to:
- Throw waste in the bin (including cigarettes)
- Separate waste at home into:
- Vegetable, fruit and garden waste + food waste (GFT+E)
- Plastic packaging, metal packaging and drinking cartons (PMD)
- Waste paper and cardboard
- Residual waste
You can be fined heavily if you present the waste incorrectly or dump trash.
